Deputy Sheriff Oliver, thank you for your service and your sacrifice. We held our First Annual Southern Maine Thin Blue Line 5k yesterday, and you were definitely in my thoughts, as I became aware of your tragedy and the day that it happened after meeting your daughter Melissa last June at a retreat. I thought of you and your family as I ran the course, please know that your sacrifice will never be forgotten.
