I had the honor of riding in the Police Unity Tour in 2015 while wearing Tyler's memorial bracelet. I also had the honor of personally giving it to his family at the Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial at the Candlelight Vigil, the night Tyler's name was added to the wall.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

On behalf of a Father of a Border Patrol Agent, our prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss. Tyler did not pass in vain. He is part of an enormous team of people that keep our families, neighborhoods and country safe from terrorists and drug traffickers. Tyler is an ongoing reminder that God blesses us by giving us hero's in our lives, standing for the deepest sense of duty.

My family aches for your loss and thank you for giving him the desire to tilt when others would retreat. His courage is not unnoticed or unappreciated.

May God bless you and your family and protect all that stand between our families and danger willingly and courageously. May God continue to shed his Grace on you.

On behalf of my family, I extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Tyler was killed.

To the Robledo family, fellow officers, and all who call Tyler beloved, my heart goes out to all of you and may you find comfort in your loved ones and your strength in your faith. When my son was killed, the entire law enforcement community in our area embraced us in a circle of love and support, and I know you will receive the same support. It makes the unbearable less torturous, and I pray for your solace.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the dedicated service Border Patrol Robledo gave to his community and the citizens of our country , and for the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on September 12, 2014.

Agent Robledo, you were taken from our brotherhood too soon. You had the courage to wear the badge and walk a beat few people could ever handle. My prayers go out to your family, and your brothers and sisters who are defending our border, and our Nation during this especially trying time. Rest now brother.
