To my partner, not a day goes by I don’t think about you and all of our adventures, the sad, the interesting, the funny, and the deeply troubled ones. The only way I made it through those times was by you being by my side, what a good man you were! I miss you and the good work we did, all of the cases we solved, all of the places we traveled. Most of all I miss my friend. Thank you for making my life better. I know it has taken a while for me to write this, but it makes it permanent and I’ve been stalling. I take comfort in knowing when I get to the gates, you’ll be standing there with your sly smile and a joke. You will never be forgotten Homicide-27.

My most sincere and heartfelt condolences to Mike's family, friends and co-workers. I served in he U.S. Air Force Security Police with Mike in Colorado Springs in the early 80's. I just learned of his passing today, and did not know that he was working in Florida. I retired from an agency not far from Orange County. rest in peace, Mike...you were one of th good ones!

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.
