On the 10th Anniversary of your passing. Remembering your Service.

Know that, although on this site it seems to be mostly strangers, your friends remember you, as well. I was just telling a new EMT about you and wanted to stop and let these fine people know that the impression you made will not soon fade. Last few times I went by, your helmet was still displayed on Sawmill Rd, and may it stay for years to come. I'll be thinking of the little stories for the rest of the day, you gave us many laughs and so much help.

Patrolman Lomax,
Sir, on today the 2nd anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Forest City Borough. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. You could've probably drove on and ignored that accident because you were going home and off duty-especially with the way the Public has been treating Law Enforcement Officers lately-but you didn't and that shows the kind of Man and Officer you are and the Character that you have.

I am currently one month into the L.A. County Sheriff's Department Academy. Our Staff Instructors have repeatedly told us that this career is a 24/7 one, regardless of whether or not you are "on the clock". Patrolman Lomax is an example of a hero that took this to heart. My condolences to his family and friends.

Officer Lomax, I had the honor of meeting your son recently. He is such a fine young man......you would be proud! I know your smiling down on him and will be with him always. One year ago today we all lost a Hero here on earth but Heaven gained another Hero angel. You will never be forgotten and always remembered!
