A few years out of law enforcement, the only every day carry item that I never leave behind is the memorial bracelet with your name on it. You were my best friend in college and the one that convinced me to serve for the greater good. You will never be forgotten, every time I watch a football game, or open a beer the memories of you are there. I pray daily for your widow and children, the world is a lesser place without you. God speed warrior, you have earned your place in heaven.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

From the day we met on January 21, 1996, I always felt great respect for you. I am proud to have known you and called you friend.

The lessons I learned during the days we worked together have never left me. I thank you for the support and for the example you always showed. You are a true leader, and though you will be missed, you will never be forgotten.

While your watch may have ended, those who knew you well continue our mission. May you rest in peace. I am certain I will see you again one day.

Today I was thinking about when we trained together at Quantico earlier this year (2013). I remember how you would make pretend you were holding an M4 when describing a tactical maneuver like clearing a room. I thought it was pretty funny how much you would get into it. lol, those of you who trained with him know what I'm talking about.
