Rest well my brother for your sacrifice was not in vain. As you take the watch in heaven, we'll take care of it down here. May God bless the family both physical and law enforcement with peace and comfort.

Dearest Officer Crain: I am so sad and upset by your loss. You and your partner were simply doing what you have always done...keeping us safe. The circumstances of your death have left us thinking how fraqile life is and how things can change in the blink of an eye. To think that someone who took the same oath as you could have done this just makes me so upset.

I pray your family knows you are a hero...not because of how you died but because of how heroically you lived your life in your chosen profession.

You are loved and appreciated.
