I'm glad I never took you for granted because you were such a Amazing brother, and my Best friend..I miss and love you dearly. Until God comes..You will always be in my heart..I carry you with me always..I love you brother..My sweet Lil Rick

Brother, as I lay here and reflect on all the times we have shared I still can't believe today is 8 months I haven't seen your face or heard your voice. It's crazy how time flies! There isn't a day that ones by that I don't think of you. I visited you Tuesday as your niece shared with you her great news about going to pre-k. She was so proud because she knew you would be as well. It's hard to visit when my heart still hurts so much and words are few knowing I can't hear a reply, see you smile, or see you physically. All I can say is I love and miss you. Your son is amazing I just look at him and smile or cry. I would have loved seeing you raise him. He favors you in many ways and I hope to have a closeness with him always. I love you my angel. I'll see you tonight in my dreams!!!!

Love your big sis Vick

To my one and only biological sibling..my heart still cries daily as do I physically. I truly miss your presence, your smile, your wet slobbery cheek kisses, your strong hugs, your wonderful personality, scratching your head, hearing you TRY to sing, being goofy together, and so much more. I know they say in time a person will heal, it seems to get harder as the days go by and I don't hear your voice, get my daily call, or a weekend visit. You have a handsome son who I will always cherish and see after as long as I'm here. Trust me he has a ring pop on standby lol. Madison asks and talks about you all the time as I'm sure you know..She says she talks and plays with you still. I wish Brooklynn could have spent more time with you as we'll as your son. You would have been a great father. I know you are looking over all of us from Heaven! God has a awesome and amazing man with him...he made you truly one of a kind. I reflect often on our last conversation the day out passed...we laughed and said our last verbal I love you..and til this day I still say I love you because I know that your presence is here..I love you Lil Rick, my Lil brother and wanna be daddy lol..always in my heart..love Your sis Victoria

Ricky, we honor your service to your community as a law enforcement officer and you will always be remembered and revered. Rest in Peace.

On behalf of our entire family, I wish to extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Ricky was killed in the line of duty. May his loved ones continue to be supported by their law enforcement family and other police survivors. Our family grieves with you and for you. To his family, you are in my heart's embrace today. I pray for the emotional healing for all who called Ricky beloved.

I was so saddened to learn of the loss of this young officer and know what a devastating blow his loss is to his family and his agency. I am so sorry that he did not live to hold his child and understand that particular torment as my son was also killed 2 months before his son was born. There are not sufficient words to convey the heartbreak I feel for his family.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the service Deputy Issac gave to his community and the citizens of Louisiana, and the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on December 8, 2012.
