What a tragic loss! I worked with Officer Bostic-Jones for years in Division 6 and 11. A very HIGHLY respected human being and officer all over the compound. Our fallen sister will be missed. I remember when she first announced her pregnancy in roll call, EVERYONE was genuinely happy for her and her family. We will neevr forget her smile and laughter. As some of us would call her, BOOm BOSTIC for her bubbly personality...rest in peace sister. Your Brother in BLUE. Div 6.

For all that didn't know her she was a very kind an big hearted person that everyone respected even the inmates. I had a wonderful opportunity to work with her where I'm still in shock when I received the calls and texts about her I wanted to believe I was having a bad dream. Even when I left the sheriff office we would keep in contact that was just the person she was. I will never forget the words of wisdom she shared with me as a rookie but Nikki you will be greatly missed we will take it from here. GOD please take good care of her as she was our angel at CCDOC.

It pains me to see another family chain broken due to negligence and irresponsability. To Nikkii's husband and child, I'm sorry for your loss. You are not alone in this nightmare...utilize everyone around for support and sanity as you need it.

As impossible as you may think, I can promise...you will find positive healthy ways to manage your pain. Don't get upset when people tell you it will get easier or better....most people just have no idea what to say to us. Take care and God bless.
