On today, the 10th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Cook County. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. There is no tougher job in Law Enforcement then that of a Corrections Officer. I volunteer every year with Texas Wheels of Justice bike ride in Conroe, TX. All riders and volunteers recieve a wrist band with an officers name. This year I received Officer Bostic-Jones name, It was an honor to volunteer in her name this year.

This July, over 60 riders and support personnel will ride across Illinois on our 9th Annual COPS Cycle Across Illinois. We will wear shirts and bracelets with Nikkii's name and will remember her by dedicating a portion of our ride in Cook County to her. We will never forget Nikkii, her family and the Cook County Sheriff's Office.
