It is truly good to see that Officer Phillips, after all these years not only has gotten the recognition he sadly earned, but that his family can appreciate it.

Officer Phillips, your passing was a tragic mistake. I can only hope the officer who accidentally took your life was able to get on with his life afterwards. No doubt it had a strong impact but sadly, these things can happen.

Officer Phillips, God Bless you and may you rest comfortably forever.

Officer Phillips has two living sons, Richard and Tom. Richard is a local radio personality for 104.5 radio, Dalton. Richard is my childhood friend and I am so proud that his father is now presented to all as a fallen officer. I am only sorry it took so long. Mrs. Phillips is also living and very honored to see that her husband is recognized. Thank you O.D.M.P.
