To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. I am privileged to be among the first to pay tribute to you. Your heroism and service is honored today, the ninety-first anniversary year of your death.

Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

I just wanted to say Thank You to Lt. Sanderson for finding the information on Robert Pedrick. It is important that the young Patrolmen, like myself, see the history and sacrifices made by the Officers who came before us in our department.

The job of any man or woman who wears a uniform is not easy and at times dangerous. My sympathy goes out to the family of this Officer. I am a Millville Police Special Officer and would like to send my condolences to the family. May God, Bless Officer Pedrick’s soul and keep him safe. For those out there still around, watch your 6 and always back each other up.

Respectfully,

MPD SLEO
