We, in law enforcement, know at some level that the next threat to our safety will likely not be fully understood or anticipated. To be doing an eviction (those do come with prior notice) and get shot, unseen, through a closed door is below cowardly by the suspect. "Bottom feeder" comes to mind.
The suspect's body has now been identified and recovered from the dwelling he shot from.
Deputy Paris is, prayerfully, getting his eternal reward in the peace and justice of Almight God. Do rest in peace now, Robert. I'm sure you are deserving of it.
