John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

God our Father, who by land and sea has ever led us to victory. Please continue your inspiring guidance in all conflict I face.

Strengthen my heart and mind so that the weakening instinct of self preservation, which besets us all in battle, shall not blind me to duty. To the glory of my calling, or to the responsibility of my fellow Officers.

Grant us all the disciple, valor, and the mutual confidence which insures success in all our challenges.

Let me not mourn for the men and women who have died fighting before me, but rather let me be glad that such heroes have lived and shared their glory. I shall learn from their sacrifice and carry their honor with me every moment of every day.

If it be my lot to die, let me do so with courage and honor in a manner which will bring the greatest harm to the foe, and all evil things which threaten our way of life.

Please lord when the time comes for me to join the many warriors up above, protect and guide those I shall leave behind. Comfort their hearts and strengthen their souls, for I have not died in vain.

With the guiding strength of your hand, lead me to victory in all of my daily battles.

AMEN

Your heroism and service is honored today. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. I pray for the solace of all those who love and miss you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.

Rest In Peace.

Mr. Heber,

Was thinking about all the times I rode with you when I was a kid, when you were on my dad's squad. I would always ask my dad if I could ride with you or Kelly, because it was so much fun. More often than not, I ended up riding with you which was fine with me because you always kept busy even though I know you didn't want to. I hadn't seen you in many years since I went into the Marine Corps but I will never forget you. RIP Mr. Heber you are certainly missed, but most certainly will never be forgotten.
