I am the proud granddaughter of William Putnam. Even though I was very little when he died. I have grown up hearing about what a honorable man he was. I am so happy he is finally getting this honor that is so well deserved. My sister Sue and niece Jamie Lucksted and my daughter Kendall and I will be attending the Candle Light Vigil in May to represent our whole family. We look for to seeing and hearing his name be added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. It has taken 50 years and I wish my grandmother and Uncles could have been alive to see this moment. I am thrilled that my mother Darlene is able to be a part of this wonderful day! Tammy Sattelberg
