Having worked for the Arkansas Department of Corrections and at the East Arkansas Regional Unit, I would feel remorsed to not offer my condolences, support, and grief along with the family, friends, and co workers of Sgt. Ester. Our heavenly father just looked down and saw another one of his lovely roses had blossomed to its full potential. Then he reached down and picked it from the earth. Rest in peace Sgt. Ester and continue to be an angel over those who must continue to serve and protect.

Mere words can not express the sorrow that is felt by loved ones, fellow officers and the officers who never had the pleasure of meeting Sgt. Ester. As I read through the comments it was agreed that she was a great officer, she fought the good fight, but God decided he needed another good Angel to watch over the rest of us still here. My sympathies go out to family, loved ones, friends and co-workers. Know she is now changed positions, on for another task. She is now our guardian angel! Rest in peace Sgt. Ester.
