It is extremely sad that another officer has lost his life doing their job. It is heart warming that he's dog refused to leave his side. If there is any good out of this, it's the fact the murderer was killed without hurting anymore officers. Rest In Peace my friend.

Rest in Peace, My Brother. Your courage, commitment, service and sacrifice shall not be forgotten.

Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle;
be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray:
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
