I didn't get the opportunity to meet Justin Sollohub but if Justin was anything like his father Dave Sollohub who I had the pleasure of working with for a little over a year then I know he was a wonderful joy to be around and to work with. All my heart and prayers to the Sollohub family. This is the hardest part of the job we do. Thank you for all that you have done. RIP Justin.

Sollo, it's been a week today yet it feels like 5 minutes. I finally get to go back to work Friday and it's going to be a hard day. You will live on forever through our stories and through each other. RIP, when I'm an old man, you'll still be a vibrant 27yr old street cop with a heart of gold. Love you.

I saw this on FB, and it saddened me. My grandfather was from Anniston, long, long ago, and this just hurt my heart. I have no idea who this family is, but I hope that God will give you the peace that you need and deserve. My family appreciates the service of police departments. God Bless.
