IN HONORE CASORUM
Gone, but not forgotten.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 112th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Your murderer received a woefully inadequate sentence of only three years, but justice was subsequently meted out by another who was defending his home.

You are remembered today and thank you Sir for your service, this writer was disappointed with the sentance handed down for you but pleased that justice was finally served on your behalf.

I have been told about you as I grew up. I never met you or my great grandfather, your son, but my great grandmother has told me about you. I have followed in your footsteps and become a police officer also. I have your old nightstick and will pass it down to my son, as it was handed down to me. You were a great man and your legacy in our family will continue to be told long after I am gone. Thank you for your sacrifice.
