Oct 1873-you were killed when my grandmother was 18 months old-she lived to be 94-and now she's been gone for 44 years-so many years gone by-so much living-that you didn't get a chance to do.
My oldest daughter was born 1 month shy of 100 years of your death-
My husband was killed only 6 years ago and we as a family wept-I know your wife & children did too-It never changes-only the dates-
You were a brave soul as was my husband
I thank you for that
Bless you Officer Bowen
