Your heroism and service is honored today, the seventeen months anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.

As time passes by, you'd think it would get easier understanding why your life was cut so short. You put everyone else before yourself. You might be gone, but you are certainly not forgotten. Your time was cut way too short. You are deeply missed by all your loved ones. We can only hope that one day you'll be waiting for us by the gates of heaven with your contagious smile. You are truly missed and very loved.

It has been one year since you wandered the halls of the SPPD. You are missed as much today Kevin as you have been missed the past 364 days. Time may heal the hurt we feel, but it will not diminish the love we feel for you.

Rest in peace my young hero and thank you for putting up with me and making my life so mjuch safer.
