Your heroism and service is honored today, the first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.

Rest In Peace.

Rest in Peace Brother.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Agent Clark, you worked one of the toughest and most frustrating jobs in law enforcement, that alone makes you a hero in my book. But you gave your all, and though you have been taken physically from your family, friends and co-workers, I know you'll never truly be far from them.

God Bless and may you forever Rest in Peace, Brother.

It fills my heart with such grief to learn of yet another two Brother's down in this fight againt the forces of evil. Some are taken through physical violence, some by accidental circumstances involving their duties, yet it was their devotion to duty that ended their lives and careers, and thus their family security. My deepest condolences to their family and friends, and may your sorrows someday be turned into joy. My prayers will always with you!
Sincerely and always,
