Reflections for Border Patrol Agent Eduardo Rojas, Jr.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.

Rest In Peace.

I didn't know Agent Rojas, but am honored to be riding in his memory. On May 10, 2012, I and other LE Officers, will depart Reading, PA. on a 200 mile bike ride to DC in honor and memory of Agent Rojas and others who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The funds I raised through contributions from friends and family will go to COPS and ODMP. Each rider will wear a bracelet that is inscribed with the fallen hero's information. I am honored to wear Agent Rojas's bracelet and hope to connect with the family to pass it along to them. If you can help me with connecting with the family to provide them the bracelet, please email me at [email protected] Thank you.

I come to the ODMP often to remember my late fiance Dennis. Every time I come here it breaks my heart to know that yet another officer has fallen and that yet another family has to live their lives without the officer they loved. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and loved Agent Clark. Know that you are not alone in the "journey" that you walk. Should you ever need anything please don't hesitate to contact me. (The Davis Co. Sheriff's Office in Iowa will always know how to reach me. I can also be found on Face Book.) You will be in my thoughts.

From reading the reflections left for Hector, he sounds like he was a great man with a beautiful spirit. Those of you who knew him in life were so blessed to have been able to share in it. I hope that you will all continue to find a way to celebrate and remember Hector's life and the MAN that he was. Remember that Hector's life was about so much more than the way he died. Hector will continue to live on as long as we continue to remember him.

Agent Clark, thank you for helping to make this world a little safer for us all. YOU will not be forgotten. Please continue to watch over all of us as only you can. If you happen to bump into my late fiance Dennis up there give him a big hug for me and the kids. It's been eight years & a half years and he's still very much missed and forever loved.

Wishing you brighter and better days,

Jocelyne :)

I'm sorry, man.

It's weird. You come into work and think that you're going home at the end of the day to see the kids or have brews with the broes. Some of us don't get to.

I wish you the peace you deserve in the afterlife

Rest in Peace Brother, we miss you.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

For BPA Hector Clark & Eduardo Rojas:

Our duty as law officers is one of peril and risk. We regret to learn that that Hector and Eduardo would meet their fate in such an horrific accident while in the course of their sworn duty.

We pray for their families, friends, co-workers and all who care about them. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.

We are proud to render Agents Hector Clark and Eduardo Rojas a final salute.

Eddie...words cannot express how sorry I am for what happened to you and Hector. I miss our daily morning talks about our babies...like the day before you died when you told me about how your son Dante had made his first giggle. You were so excited and proud that you were the first person to witness this small milestone in your young son's life. You would usually stand in the hallway outside my cubicle and lean up against the wall as we talked. I can't tell you how many times I've turned around at my desk and stared into that empty hallway. The empty cubicle next to mine is a constant reminder that you really are gone. Eddie, I'm so sorry.

I miss you.
