Reflections for Border Patrol Agent Eduardo Rojas, Jr.

Cuñado, Happy Heavenly Birthday!!!
You will always and forever be HERE with us.
We love you and, yes, miss your physically, but again, there isn't a single day that goes by that your name, your actions, you, just you, is/are mentioned. Thank you for looking after everyone down here

Happy birthday cuñado.
You would have turned 45 today.
Happy birthday in heaven.
Dios siempre te cuide.
We miss you dearly.
Hey, Dante spent a few days here in El Paso this past week.
He's the closest we have of you, Eddie.
He will always be what we have of you.
I always see him and know for certain that he is the most to lose with your departure. You would have been such an awesome daddy.
Anyway. Take care in heaven, Eddie.

Memorial Day Eddie. Today and every single moment we thank heroes like you who gave all to protect our freedom. It is NOT an easy day, today or any day knowing that "that hero" was someone's daddy, little brother, favorite uncle, best friend, etc.
Many people "celebrate" Memorial Day, but the Rojas Family mourns.

Hi Eddie,
Today marks 10 years since you were called by Our Lord.
Dante is so smart and so big you would be so proud of your son.
Eddie, just wanted to tell you that we love you & miss you.

To the Rojas Family:

I am SO sorry for your loss. I worked with Eddie many years ago in Yuma. I remember that he was always smiling and joking. He was a great agent, and a nice guy, as well. I can't believe it has already been more than nine years...

I can't imagine your suffering, but I want you to know that Eddie is not forgotten. I hope that gives you some comfort.

Eddie, Rest in Peace!

Another year, Eddie. It does not get easier, though. The pain of losing you seems a raw now as it was 9 years ago.
Dante is big now! Well, you already know because we are sure you watch over him!
We love you and miss you, Eddie. Why? We ask, but then, who are we to cast doubt on God's plans.

We will never forget, Eddie. You're always in our hearts.

9 years today Baby Brother. Still miss you so much it hurts. You are always in our hearts and in our thoughts. If what they say that as long as someone remembers you, you are still alive, then you will live forever....

Today, 8 years ago (still remember vividly as if it had happened this morning) we lost our Eddie. Sadly, this is what we now associate with Mother's Day.
Eddie, we love you, we miss you, and will ever mourn you. The void you left is a crater that cannot and will be covered.

Happy birthday little brother. Mi Gordo, we miss you and love you as much, if not more, than the day you left us to be with the Lord. Dante is so big, and so smart, and so inquisitive about everything around him. We took dad out to eat at Noel's new restaurant.

........So much wish we could have you there with us, or of course, know that Sayde, Hazzel, & Dante celebrated your birthday like you deserve, surrounded by love!

We close our eyes and do just that, wish you were here with us --- but you're not, and it hurts!

Love you dearly mi gordo.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

Another year goes by since you left us, Eddie. Yet, it seems like yesterday that we felt the pain and shock of losing you.
We love you; we miss you. The crater size void you’ve left cannot be filled.

Eddie,

Losing you was tragic and heartbreaking, even today we miss you dearly. Not a day goes by when we don’t remember something about you.

We are now part of a fraternity who share the pain and sorrow of commemorating another year without you, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of our Lord.

......... We remember you always.

To all the brave men and women in Law Enforcement, may the good Lord bless you and keep you.

On behalf of all the Rojas family
(Mom, Dad, Brother & Sister - we love you ! )

Thank you Mr. Jefferson for your reflection. Yes, it's been 4 years. It is as painful now as it was then. Eddie and Hector left huge voids, very difficult to fill.
