Andy,

As you already saw, dozens gathered this morning on Tyler St. to honor you. As always, some of us went to the cemetery and had a cocktail with you. Year #3 has been no easier than day #1. RIP my friend and thank you once again for allowing me to share your life.

ANDY, WELL ANOTHER YEAR HAS PASSED SINCE WE LOST YOU. AS 1745 HRS APPROACHES TODAY I'LL ALWAYS REMEMBER OUR LAST CONVERSATION AS YOU WERE ON YOUR WAY TO WORK THAT EVENING. I HAVE ALWAYS REFERRED TO MARCH 19TH AS YOUR E.O.W. BUT RECENTLY I SAW ANOTHER REFERENCE...THAT WORKS TOO, AS YOUR ANGEL DATE. CAN'T BELIEVE IT HAS BEEN 3 YEARS. SEEMS SO LONG AGO BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY. MISS YOU AS ALWAYS, AND WE'LL BE THERE AT 0301 IN THE MORNING TO HONOR YOU ON TYLER ST. LOVE YOU, DAD

Officer Dunn, I never knew you but your father posted a petition for my family, to keep our fathers killer in prison. Our prayers are with him & your family & fellow Officers as the date approaches when you were taken. Surely missed by all the lives you touched.

Andy, we met your wonderful parents at the COPS Parent Retreat and became quick friends. Your Dad and my husband Mike both have a lot in common in that they both worked with their sons on the job and also lost both of you. It was very clear that not only are you so loved and missed but your parents are so very, very proud of you. Please keep watch over them and give them strength. I hope you have met our son Mike.......I know you would be good friends.

I also had a chance to meet your parents at the C.O.P.S. Parent's Retreat. Your Dad has a multitude of tattoos as a tribute to your heroism. It was sobering being amongst so many grieving parents, but such a comfort, too. We felt an instant bond when we met.

I had the opportunity to meet your Dad and Step Mom this past weekend at the COPS Parents Retreat. We exchanged stories and I was also able to bust your Dad's stones a number of times. You being a cop and also your Dad, know that we do it for fun. I know how much he misses you and thinks of you every day and carries that special love for you and the precious memories he has of you, within his broken heart. Continue to keep watch over him and all of your loved ones. You will never be forgotten.

I'm not really sure why but tonight it's hitting me all over again that I cannot see you or even call you!!! Maybe it's because Jeremy and I took the girls to the drive in again and it reminds me so much of when mom and dad would take us!! I miss you so much, I never imagined my life would be where it is.. Oh how so many things have changed I could really use my big brothers shoulder to lean on!!! I love and miss you!!!!

Andy..
I miss you so much!! Everyday is a challenge with its own obstacles to overcome. Some days everything reminds me of you and those days I just want to sit down and cry and do nothing but remember my brother!!! But that just isn't possible. I would give just about anything to be able to talk to you again!! I love you!! Please continue to watch over our family, both blood and in blue!!!

I thought about you and your family on your 2 year anniversary and wondered how their journey through thru this grief was going. I know you and my son Craig, are watching over us all and sending us strength to carry on but it sure has been rough. But carry on we must do to keep our sons memories alive. Your heroism and service honored on your two year anniversary and always! maybe we will see your dad again at the wall in DC this year.
