It is with a heavy heart that we lose another brave officer in the Tampa Bay area. My prayers go out to the family of Officer Crawford who have stood strong for 25 years of days and nights while he kept the citizens safe and responded to community safety needs. Thank you for sharing and supporting your husband, your father in the career he lived to fulfill. May you find comfort knowing you are surrounded by a grieving community and are not alone.

Hearts weep all over America tonight for the loss of your hero. My deepest condolences to Officer Crawford's wife, daughter and The St. Petersburg Police Dept. I am still reeling from the passing of the other 2 officers this month.
All of the Officers are/were doing a thankless, deadly job.
Please know that I and millions like me DO care and share your grief for this cowardly, senseless act.
May swift and final justice prevail.
