I would like to offer my sincerest condolences and prayers for the family of WCO David Grove, his agency, and the law enforcement community in Adams County. While the suspect's capture will not bring back WCO Grove, I am grateful that the Pennsylvania State Police captured the shooter and that he will be held accountable for his actions by the courts and ultimately God.

AS A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER AND HUNTER WHO HAS ENJOYED THE WILDS OF THE PENNSYLVANIA WOODS, I CAN APPRECIATE THE JOB AND DEDICATION THAT WCO GROVE WAS DOING. SO OFTEN IT IS A THANKLESS JOB. Our sincere condolences go out to the family of Officer Grove. How terrible would it be to hear a knock on the door late at night and know it brings tragedy. I pray for the safety of all who put themselves in harm's way every day: police, firemen, EMTs, and ask God to keep them safe while they do their very difficult jobs. Every time I hear a siren, I send another prayer. God bless Officer Groves's family and friends.

It breaks my heart to hear of another tragic loss on this date. As I was sitting at my computer leaving a reflection on my daddy's page on the 6th anniversary of his untimely passing, I was praying for all LEOs who were still working. At the same time, Officer Grove was making his last stop. I'm so sorry for your family; I know too well the path they are beginning today. God bless them, and rest your soul. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. You won't be forgotten.
