I had talked to Dave many times over the few years I knew him.He was always a professional in his job.Never overstayed his welcome. As a waterfowl hunter he knew he time was of the essence as to not disrupt a hunt. Was very kind ahs was a good sourse of info.Helped with my daughters HTE course.I will very much miss Dave and his happy attitude towards everything outdoors.

All of this pain and suffering over a poached deer??!! What is this world coming to? Officer Grove, our thoughts, hearts and prayers go out to you and your family. May the Good Lord hold you all close in the palm of his hand as your family passes through these dark days ahead. Thank you for your selfless service and ultimate sacrifice made in keeping us all safe. We lost our son to very similar circumstances three years ago in Smithsburg, Maryland, only a few miles away. What a terrible, tragic loss to the people and community you served so well and we salute you, sir. Freedom isn't free...someone always pays.
