I just read an article about Carlos in American Police Beat. I graduated with him from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy. I was stunned and saddened to see that Carlos had been killed in the line of duty. I will keep his family in my prayers.

Thanks for the memories and your service. My families' thoughts and prayers go out to your family. I'll never forget how you always won the push-up contests at our unit. Carlos did over 400 push-ups in one set, amazing. Semper Fi and I'll see you on the high ground. RIP brother.
