Reflections for Officer Jeffrey Alan Kocab

R.I.P. Hero's. You will always be remembered and never forgotten. May God watch over your loved ones.

Thinking of you and all of your loved ones during this holiday season. No one knows how hard holidays can be unless they walk in our shoes of losing a child. People tell us that we have to get on with our lives. They have no conception as to what it is like. I leave this for you Mom and for others to read to help them understand. Continue to keep watch over all of your loved ones.

"The sense of loss does not diminish with time. In truth, the expression 'time heals all wounds' is a myth. For parents, the loss of a child is permanent and mental scar tissue really does not grow over the grim memory. Rather, all tears are expended and a dull ache remains."

Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

I pray for the solace of all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their devotion to you through their reflections.

When I get where i'm going,to the far side of the sky,the first thing i'll do is spread my wings and fly.I'll land beside a lion, and rub my fingers though his mane, and then I'll find out what it's like to ride a drop of rain.RIP guys

This message is to all my fallen brothers/sisters who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the City of Tampa. On Febuary 9th, 2011 we broke ground on an enhancement to the Tampa Police Monument. This project was done to provide the most honorable place to remember your service.

Some of the names on that monument had fallen before my time, however we all wore the same uniform and were family. This enhancement will remind your loved ones that we will never forget all of you nor the sacrifices you made. I am proud to be part of this and hope that you will be smiling down at the finished product. God bless you all and your families. RIP..your sacrifices are remembered daily through those who continue to serve.

I stopped by to say that I bought your memorial t-shirt as soon as I heard about them. I wear it proudly and often. Occasionally people will ask me about it and I tell them of your bravery. You are far from forgotten. Thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice brother.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your husband and your daughter. No words can ever bring you comfort but I hope you know that so many people that you've never met are thinking of you. Life is unfair and I just have to believe that at the end of this life you will be reunited with your husband and daughter. I can't imagine the pain you must feel. My heart breaks for you.
