It was a very sad day to hear that you lost your life protecting the citizens of California. A man can do no greater endeavor than lay down his life for his State. I remember the days of riding the CHP motorcycle...It was the proudest day of my life when I graduated from Motor Class on Nov 2, 1972..You belong to the best unit in the world. I am proud to have served with you. You will always be in my thoughts...Semper Fi Motorman....

I AM A WARRIOR

I stand with God. I fight not for glory or fame,
For they are momentary.
I fight for those who can't.
I fight for Justice.
I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden.
And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets,
For I serve to protect the innocent.
It matters not where or when,
For evil knows no boundaries.
Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny,
I will not flee.
Justice is my weapon.
Faith is my shield.

Rest in Peace Officer Coleman we've got it from here.....

Retired NYPD

For Officer Thomas P. Coleman:

The duty of the motor officer is special in the sense that the normal risks of patrol are intensified while riding on two wheels, and onto the deadliest of battlefields - a United States highway. We regret that Tom would encounter a chase that would claim his life. We now rely upon the competence of a full investigation to bring those responsible before the courts to be judged.

We pray for Tom's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another when the need arises.

I am proud to render Officer Thomas Coleman a final aalute.

Cpl. Ralph D. Fiorenza (Ret.)
Pennylvania State Police
