You are part of two of my families, personal, and law enforcement.
You helped me get to the point where I have the opportunity to protect others, I am sure that you will be riding shotgun with myself, as well as every other law enforcement officer as we continue to do the work that you dedicated your life to.
You brought my family closer together, and blessed us with two new amazing little members! Watch over your family from above, as we will do down here.

Its been years since I have seen you. We helped each other out many times up on "the rock" and near the 210. We had different badges but we served with integrity, honor, and with a unified purpose. I can only hope that you will spare some time and keep an eye out for me like you used to do. Rest in Peace my brother.
