I can still remember your "break in" days in Altadena after your academy graduation. As your FTEP Sergeant, I recall putting you and your classmates out with your FTOs and then holding my breath for the next 8-10 hours. Can ya say "premature grey hairs"? And at the end of the shift I'd always ask "Did you make a positive impact to anyone's life today?" You were ALWAYS proud to report that, yes, you did. By all accounts, you continued to do so until your end of watch. Ya done good, Brother Tom, rest in peace........

Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. He was also your fellow Marine so I also bid you semper fi.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

I pray for the solace of all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.

You are part of two of my families, personal, and law enforcement.

You helped me get to the point where I have the opportunity to protect others, I am sure that you will be riding shotgun with myself, as well as every other law enforcement officer as we continue to do the work that you dedicated your life to.

You brought my family closer together, and blessed us with two new amazing little members! Watch over your family from above, as we will do down here.
