Reflections for Sergeant Robert Brandon Paudert

Well my brother in arms it's another year today that Bill and you were taken. I still remember getting the call out. I will never forget y'all or the fun we had working together.

Hey, I was just thinking about you two today. Life is just not the same anymore without you guys. I remember laying in the bed, going "ARE YOU KIDDING ME" cause you would blow Jeremy's phone up all hours of the night cause you could not sleep :) what I would do to hear those rings again. You and Bill keep your eyes on Jeremy when he is out there working. We love and miss both of you so much. Lots of love lifted up to you two !

Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for solace for all that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your friends for sharing their memories and devotion to yuo through their reflections.

Rest In Peace.

Hey brother. I wanted to stop in and say HI. I miss you and Bill so much. There is not a day goes by I don't think about you guys. It's been nearly 2 years since we lost 2 of the best officers WMPD has ever pinned a badge on. We had some great times and I am always sharing those memories with people. I watched a DVD the other night with our big money seizure and laughed and then cried throughout it all. I know each time I make a stop you and Bill are watching from above keeping me safe. You guys be good and keep Bill in line also. I love u brother.

Too often, the citizens do not understand the sacrifices officers willing give to protect them. There are so many diversed criminal elements out there that we as a unit expect to come in contact with and in many cases are not.

I give complete honor and acknowledgement to ALL law enforcement around the nation, country and internationally; a loss is a loss.

I commend Bob Paudert for taking a stand against this senseliness; but we should remember that whether is a soverign citizen or a hate crime. IT HAS TO STOP! AWARENESS, PREPARDNESS IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SURVIVAL. We are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents and friends. Color has no boundaries, crime has no face, we must begin to join in unison to reach out an touch each other lives and say "Hey you, in blue, I am here now, right here , right now.

With all my energy and continous support.

To the family of Sergeant Brandon Paudert.

I had the extreme privelege of getting to know Brandon in ALETA Class 2003-D. Our short time there together forever changed my life. There was a sense of camaraderie amongst our class like none that I have ever experiencied in my life.

To hear the news that a fellow law enforcement officer has been killed in the line of duty is already bad enough, but to lose a BROTHER that you began your journey in this profession with is devastating.

Our time together will be treasured for the rest of my life.

With sincere condolences to the family and friends of Sgt. Paudert and Ofc. Evans.

Hey brother just wanted to stop by and tell you we miss Bill and you. This Friday it will be a year and a night doesn't go by that at some point time we get to talking about y'all. Sheriff Allen is getting us tasers and you know we had to tell the story of when we went through Zane's class and we did our report on taser and you took the 5 second ride. How after a stop we would be on the side of the road with blue lights on and we would just be talking and telling funny storys. We love you brother and miss y'all everyday.

I realized your 1 year is approaching when I saw an article about your dad.... My heart aches for him, and for your beloved family who loves and misses you.

This song has been stuck in my head lately and I think it's so fitting for all who are hurting without you.

Stay close to them. Wrap your angel wings around them and give their hearts the solace of your presence as this terrible tragic date approaches.

RIP Brandon. You are not forgotten.

I wanted to say that I miss you so much brother. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you and Bill. We were an awesome unit that was ran by one heck of a supervisor. You were that Supervisor who was always there when one of your guys was having personal issues to lend a hand or a word of advice....Some of which was hilarious!! We had some great memories that will never be forgotten on I-40 as well as at Training Schools. I know that you and Bill are taking care of Officer Schmidt tonight and each of you guys are telling stories as we speak. I can hear Bill laughing right now and Brandon....We all know you are chuckling yourself bc noone could not hear one of Bill's stories and not laugh their butt off. I miss you guys so much and can't wait to hit that next "LOAD" because it is just for you guys. I miss you Brother and Love YA. Take care my brother!

RIP Sgt Paudert and Officer Evans. This video is making its rounds on YouTube which hopefully will bring some needed attention to "sovereign citizens", weapons traffickers and routine traffic stops. In this day and age, NO traffic stop should be routine. Thank you for your service Sgt Paudert and Officer Evans.
