You are sooooo missed. Everyday, I miss you laughing, cracking jokes or looking down your nose at me making that "grumbling" sound. When you walked into the room, you drew all of the attention. I know you are happy now, but I hate the way you left. I hate that someone hurt you. I would never hurt you. I wish I could have been there, just to save you from dying. I didn't want you to leave and I wish I could bring you back. I'm not yet ready to accept that someone took you away. I know it's selfish, but, I sometimes wish it could have been someone else. I hate looking at your face on the wall; I never thought your picture would be there and I never thought I would be speaking of you as a memory. I need you! I need your advice! I need to talk to you! I miss you dear friend, you are loved!

Thinking of you and all of your loved ones as this holiday season arrives. I know that they think of you always. Thank you for being the hero that you are. Normal citizens run in the opposite direction when they hear or see gunfire, police offficers and soldiers are the only ones that run to the gunfire. You are a true hero and heroes never die. Continue to keep watch over all of your loved ones, you will never be forgotten.

Huff, just when I think I've come to terms with you being gone... I look at your picture, I re-play all of our memories and I find myself sobbing.. you were an incredible cop and partner! Nothing made a long midnight shift better then the comic relief you brought to off duty roll call, or to our many humorous runs.. and you and AJ... all I can do is laugh seeing both your huge ass' pack into that vic with your hats ALWAYS on... I will love and miss you forever big guy.. hope you know how many of us you touched, in such a profound way.. I love you Huff.

Also know that YOU are HERO's as well. We know you sacrificed nights, weekends, and holidsays with Brian for the sake of the job. We know you have also made the ultimate sacrifice with the loss of Brian. Remenber always that these sacrifices were not made in vain. It was those times that Brian truely made a difference. Seem's like just yesterday Officer Huff, we were laughing in the report room at the end of your shift and the start of mine's... I still think back to the first time we worked patrol together back at old #5 I took one look at you and said to myself " man this big dude is going to talk about lifting weights and working out all night long " then you got in the car and started talking about everything but working out, life, being married and taking care of home smile, time went so fast that day we couldn't believe it was time to get off work, I remember you and your partner would always back every unit up on a weapon run, no words can fill this page bro I miss seeing you in the morning getting ready to get off from work. We are not put on earth to be hear forever, just a short while so with that I won't ask why.. God bless you Huff...

Continue to watch over us from above as we fight the criminal element. Wanted to tell you it was great to finally meet your wife and son. They are in good hands, brother.
