Reflections for Police Officer Joseph H. Platt

Officer Platt, it has been 63 years since you were taken from us. You would be proud of what New Hampshire law enforcement has become. We continued to thrive, learn and become safer due to the traditions and sacrifices you, your family, and many others have made for us. Thank you for your law enforcement service.

My daughter and I met your son today at the NH Veterans Home in Tilton. We talked for over an hour and went through his photo albums. He pointed out the pictures of you and him with your cruisers. He is very proud of your service. We talked about the time you two shared on patrol and also about the time he spent during the war in Korea. Respects to both of you.
