I knew Chris Williams well and miss his smile. He was a kind man and great officer who loved his work. He saved my life twice and I will forever be in his debt. My condolences to his family. He will always be remembered by me and mine.

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 6th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.

You were my motorcycle riding partner. I know we must have looked funny with your big self riding that white Shadow next to this little guy riding a blue Shadow. (I will admit that your flames looked better than my flames.) Rest in peace my friend. You were a gentle giant and you are missed.

Chris,

I am happy to see that you were recognized here!! Thank you, Tom, for not letting this slip by.

My funniest memory working with Chris was when his vehicle broke down one night on 17th. street and I responded to give him a ride. It was a hot, summer night, and my A/C was working overtime and the car was soaking wet on the outside from the humidity being generated from the A/C and Chris asked me had I just gone through a car wash, and I told him it was from the A/C...he stopped and looked at me and said, there was no way he could ride in a car that he new to be that cold...

We both got a laugh, moved his gear to my car, and he "suffered" through the ride back to HQ.

Chris...you ARE a good man, a good friend, always had a story and never short on laughter...No pun intended...I know that department misses your presence!!!

Chris,

I'm glad we were finally able to get some recognition for you. As our agency prepares to go to DC to honor your memory next week (5/13/2010-5/15/2010), I am in the midst of trying to make sure Fay is taken care of, so that she can see how important you were to us. In the end, I hope she will be proud.

I have a very special personal memory of Chris, who came to my aid on a call that was precarious. The mere appearance of Chris, who was a GIANT of a man, was enough to resolve the issue completely.

We miss you, and our agency is the lesser because of your far too premature departure from this world. May God bless you and your family.
