I trained under Jerry in 1971 and he aided me in getting off probation. He was integrity bound and an excellent leader/trainer. I am now in my 70's and look back at those people that had the most influence on my life, Jerry is one of them. Rest in peace, I hope your family was able to carry on and know what a great man you were.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 24th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

It has taken over 22 years, but you are finally being honored. I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of North Platte.
