Chris,
We didn't get to work together long, but I enjoyed working with you when we did. That was the hardest report that I have done in my career. I learned a lot of great things about you at the hospital, surrounded by both of your families. I remember you teasing me about ordering pineapple on my MEAT lover's pizza. I still order it and the other deputies still tease me about it. I hope you are looking down on us and keeping us safe.

Chris,
I miss you. You were an asset to the SERT Team, to the sheriff's office; in fact you were an asset to everyone you touched. Working with you was an honor and a privilege.
I know your spirit lives on with God.
We will meet again.

Chris it's been a long year since you were taken away from us. My mind often wanders back to happier times when you were still with us. Personally I miss the long talks we used to have in the office about our families, high school days, and our faith in God. This accident left a hole in our Sheriff's Office that we can never fill. I know you are in a better place and will watch over all of us the best you can.
