Reflections for Patrolman William Bond

this is very sad part of my family history. Both Ferd Honaker and Wesley Belcher are my direct family and i believe one other participant was a Wilson also my family. Not something to be proud of while going thru my family history. I am so sorry that this happened to one of Cincinnati's finest heroes.

Your heroism and service is honored today as we approach the 85th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer, 81 years after you were killed.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

It saddens me to see an Officer, who has paid the ultimate price, without reflection. Patrolman Bond, you died on the same day my Father was born. That is what brought me here. Rest in peace and know that we have the watch now. You will never be forgotten. God bless.
