I can't imagine D10 without Kent, nearly everytime I was in his district Kent would meet up with me. I cannot remember a time where I did not run into him on a call where he was not grinning. He was a great man and I will miss him - he will always be remembered!

Your family is in my thoughts and prayers today, and I pray for their solace.

I am so completely heartbroken at losing our 6th law enforcement officer in less than 2 months! I did not know Deputy Kent Mundell but I do wish to offer my most heartfelt and sincere condolences to his wife, daughter, and son, as well as the rest of his family and loved ones. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss and I want you to know you will all be in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you Deputy Mundell for your willingness to put yourself in harm’s way to protect others and keep them safe. You are indeed a true hero as you saved at least 1 life if not 3 on the day you were wounded. Rest in Peace Brother!
