I hope you are resting in peace, knowing that your service to your County, State and Country will always be appreciated. You are indeed a hero amoung men. My prayers are with you and your family.

It has taken 128 years, but you are finally being honored. I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Smith County.
