Your heroism and service is honored today, the first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service to my home state and the birthplace of my beloved son. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
I pray for solace for all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.
Rest In Peace

Mickey,
It was a pleasure working with you. You were one always one of my favorite guys to deal with. Always a gentleman, level headed and an awesome leader. You were always so wonderful to me. Thank You. When you were in PSD I felt like there was a fair person there directing fair investigations. You were so quiet and always seemed to be thinking about things.. I liked to make you laugh. You died the day my Paige was born..
