Mike,

Thank you for the example, the way you wore your perfectly cleaned and pressed uniform; and worked with humility and dedication, the way you loved your family and friends, and the way you openly shared your dreams and supported others in the pursuit of their own. I will never forget.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 4th anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. I thank your family and friends for sharing their devotion to you through their reflections.

Hey Mikey, its been so long since I got to go ride with you but I still remember every day from the day I met you right after you finished probation to all the days I got to act with the rest of the explorers in your in-service mockscenes :) those were some great days and I still remember all the advice you gave me to help me some day have a chance to be one of your partners at LCSO and I'm so thankful for everything you taught me. Just wanted to say thanks Mikey, even though I didn't get to know you very well you had a huge impact on me and I'll never forget that.

I was in Academy class 619 with Mike. For odd reasons I wathced our OC video recently and the one thing I noticed was Mike, there in the background supporting each of us as it was our turn to get that awful fire in our eyes. Mike, I'm glad I had the chance to know you and I hope you rest in peace brother.
