Dad I loved u and I still do it's been awhile and I miss u more with everyday. You always told me to do the right thing and to listen to Mom. I wish I could say that I've been do it. I love u dad and I know you looking down on all of us and I feel u with me in my heart every day I know this will sound bad but I wish you were here so I could live with u instead of the guy I have to call step dad he is more of a drill Sargent and I don't feel like he cares. Dad I love I've said it a lot just now but I mean it I miss u and when god calls me he won't have to holler cause I'll be listening for it so I can see you.

Chad, it as been 6 years so far since you died. I recently had to sort of set myself back and try to refocus myself so I could be a better officer to the community I serve. It as been 10 years since you trained me and the class of RRCJA LE 85. I have decided that part of my mission to to better serve my department, I need to have a small reflection time and reminder of what it is that I am doing, each shift I will work for (besides myself, and family and community that I serve) I shall work for a fallen officer. Thank you for instructing me, thank you for the service you have provided. Tonight I work for you.

Thinking of you today my friend. My husband left to go on duty and on the back of his law enforcement t-shirt was your name. It stops me every time I see him wear that shirt and I am reminded of the many times we got to work together. I really enjoyed going out on LOW calls with you and can't believe you're patrolling the streets of Heaven now. You will never be forgotten, your legacy will live on and you will always be considered a hero. God bless your family and friends.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the third anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I pray for solace for all those that love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever. Your family is in my heart's embrace. Thanks to your family and friends for sharing their memories and devotion to you through their reflections.

Rest In Peace.
