May God BE with the family of Lieutenant Gregory Jonas, im a new dispatcher, and i came in late with this news, but everyday Centreville keeps your dream alive, you are talked about daily and never forgotten, i feel like i know you personally, i feel and know in my heart you were loved, and as being a dispatcher, i would of loved to serve and work with a man like you, i heard you was like a pot of gold, hard to get and hard to hold, love you thru spirit, and i see you every time im at work, just stopping by to say hi.

As I work these same streets that you have everyday I wonder how would you have handle certin situations. For as I try and keep your name a legacy going I just want you to no that its very hard only because you were one of a kind. The amount of people and Love was overwhelming, this showed how much you meant to the citizens of Centreville and surrounding cities. The Police family was there in full force. To Lt. Greg Jonas, to all family members and friends who call him beloved, and to his law enforcement family:

I was sorry to learn of Greg's death and extend my sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you have suffered. Words are insufficient to describe the sadness I feel for the Jonas family. May you find comfort in your faith and the support of the law enforcement community.

There are many police survivors who share this same journey with you, and that community will be there to support you. Greg's memory will be forever honored and revered.

I am deeply saddened by this tragic news. Another of the best people on earth has fallen to an evil murderer.
