Your heroism and service is honored today, the fourth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered for your selfless and distinquished service to our country in the aftermath of 9/11. I pray for solace for all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.
Rest In Peace

Dad, you were the most influential person in my life. Like a lot of people, this is something that I never fully realized until you left us. In your every fiber was a sense of duty, a desire to help people, and a firm knowledge of right and wrong. Whether patrolling the streets of the South Bronx, during the mid-1970’s or during your travels in Islamabad, with the Joint Terrorist Task Force, you moral compass remained steady. This permeated my life and gave me the guidance to also choose a career helping others. Your influence has reinforced my desire to help others through a career in law enforcement. Thank you.
I miss you and think about you every day. Happy Father's Day Dad. Save a place for me at Mamma's table.

Dear Robert
I have so many wonderful memories from childhood of you and Aida having fun, laughing, joking etc. with my parents. They were always so happy to be with you. I consider your family to be an extension of mine and they are always in my thoughts and prayers.
We all miss you so much and we will never forget you.

Bobby,
It was 1985 when a rookie FBI Agent joined a team of seasoned investigators in a common cause; to protect our country from those who want to destroy our way of life. You were instrumental to the team and over the many years that followed helped develop the skills and abilities of many who walked the halls of the Joint Terrorist Task Force. Thank you for your friendship and guidance. Heaven got a new angel when you entered. I will never forget your freindship, laughter and sense of humor. (RIP)

Hi Robert.
I just attended a memorial for you yesterday, and it was beautiful. It was held at the Marina del Rey and was bittersweet. We used to go there for police functions when you originally joined the department and it was so sad to go there at the end. Bobby got your medal of honor and he was so proud. I really miss you. I travel a lot with Gloria, going to places you would never have gone to but I see older couples together and think of how I will never have that. I'm feeling a bit weepy today so don't mind me. I love and miss you very much.
