He was my Uncle Alfred. I was 6 years old when he died so suddenly. I still remember him especially at family gatherings. He was a good man and loved by all. His sister (my mother) called me Alfred in her last year's with dementia when she spoke to me at times. His little sister sure must of missed him and felt safe.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 58th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace

We ask Thy blessings and eternal rest to all our brothers and sisters
Who have sacrificed their very lives in the performance of
their duties. Give their loved ones the peace and
Strength to bear the anguish of their loss. Remove all
resentment from their hearts, knowing that eternal
peace and rest will abide their departed loved ones
forever. This we beg, Thy name forever and ever,
Amen.

I never had the opportunity to know you because you were taken from my mother when she was only seven and yet I miss you. You live on in the hearts and minds of your family. You are our hero.
