Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Second Lieutenant Francis Joseph Stecco

Frank, yours was the most cohesive, outstanding squad I had the pleasure to be on as an officer.
As for your humor- I still reflect on when you created a fake name email account and contacted your real estate agent SGT, asking about million dollar homes in the area. He was pulling so many listings with excitement and glee. You had him going for over a month thinking he was a going to hit the jackpot with that sale. ...LOL OMG - Classic Frank at his best!

I think of you often, AB. You were definitely one of a kind, the best kind, as a friend and an officer. I know you are keeping the streets safe up there. Miss you!!

Frank, you were one of a kind. Maybe not always politically correct but kind inside, always fair, and always supported your people. Something we need more of these days. You were in the plus column for humanity. I miss you, friend.

Last night I was retelling a story about one of your multiple practical jokes. Still cracks me up just thinking about it. You were the best supervisor I have ever had. Even though I have moved on in my career, I think about you all the time and the joy that you brought to all of those who were fortunate enough to have known you.

Miss you Frank!

A year has passed and your sacrifice has not been forgotten. Neither have the expressions on the faces of your fellow Officers, Deputies and the others who so desperately searched for you in the chilly October rain last year. The expressions on their faces and the sacrifices you made both tell the story of what a hero you are. GOD Bless the law enforcement community.
