Reflections for Chief of Police Samuel John Murphy

He was a hero. I am researching my tree and found out that Chief Murphy is my 2nd cousin. Want to find out all I can. R.I.P. Cousin

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 76th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. You will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace

It's been too long since your untimely passing. It is our privilege to remember and honor you; while you may be gone you will never be forgotten.
