Rest easy brother

Every time a law officer dies in the line of duty, I remember Patrick. The saddest thing I’ve ever experienced was walking through Ben Franklin Parkway the day of his funeral and seeing the water in the fountain police officer blue. I broke down and cried. RIP

I remember attending a benefit in Sgt. Mcdonald's honor at Bonks in Philadelphia. Even though I didn't know him, it was an honor to meet his family and friends. RIP my brother in blue.

As a member of the Philadelphia Police Foundation, this is hard to read after attending officer Robert Wilson's Funeral this year as a representative of the PPF. I sincerely hope it's the last I will attend, and we as a board are trying to make that happen. Thank all Law Enforcement officers for your service.

By William Butler Yeats
I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,
And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;
Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honey-bee,
And live alone in the bee-loud glade.

And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes dropping slow,
Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the cricket sings;
There midnight’s all a glimmer, and noon a purple glow,
And evening full of the linnet’s wings.

I will arise and go now, for always night and day
I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;
While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements grey,
I hear it in the deep heart’s core.

NEVER FORGOTTEN

Morning Sarge, hopefully St Michael is not working you too hard!
They're most likely extremely happy to have you among the ranks, i know we where here in Philly. Always remember how you were always ready to kick ass and take names from those special folk who didn't care much for a civilized society and even less for the value of life. Miss you Sir, it was always great to see a former fellow 25th District officers show up to a job and lend a hand. A salute to you Sergeant, it would be an honor to someday meet again. Your Brother in Royal Blue, ~Jose

Happy Birthday Sgt.McDonald!! I will raise an Irish toast to you along with some of my family members who have gone to be with God.I attended your funeral.We did not know one another,but as a citizen,I felt compelled to attend as it was the least I could do.I stood out there with your law enforcement brothers and sisters and had communion in the street.I listened and watched and prayed.I pray that your family finds comfort in knowing that people like me are thankful for your service and wish you the most peace with all of the angels above.God Bless
