Your heroism and service is honored today, the 63rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Your actions will never be forgottenb thanks to this site. On the very same day you were killed an Officer LeBloch, from the Stikney (Illinois) Police Department was also killed. I am sure the two of you arrived at heaven's gates at the same time and welcomed as heros.

GreatGrandfather I was born long after your unfortunate shortcomming but I am very proud to say we share the same blood, rest in piece sir you will never be forgotten also my father who is now with you &I attended the memorial in 1994 when your name was presented on the national policeman's memorial wall in Washington D.C. in which I am very proud of also.
