Rest in peace brother. I had the privilege to work with Belleville PD from 1968-73 before going to Jackson. My brother Frank was there from 1964-1974. Our cousin Danny has been with Belleville PD for years as well; and his Dad is a retired Captain from the Fire Department. I saw the EOW for Belleville Officer Jim Smith in front of my house on Mill St. in 1950. He was a school mate of my Mom at St. Peters. May he and Mike Hanly take you in there arms on the other side. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and the brave men and women of our proud agency. God speed in the recovery of your partner.

I want to share one thing about Kenny with all the people who visit this site. He left the Newark PD earlier this year because Belleville, a neighboring town, had a better work schedule, which allowed for more time off...to spend with his family. That is the type of guy Kenny was.
